flue gas analyzers

AMETEK/Thermox product line offers the greatest selection of flue gas analyzers in the industry. Wether it is an oxygen analyzer, H2S analyzer or moisture analyzer, Ametek has it. Thermox pioneered the use of zirconium oxide with the introduction of our oxygen analyzers in 1967. In 1979, we introduced combined oxygen and combustibles measurement in an overall combustion analyzer.

AMETEK/Process Instruments provides world class CEM, Moisture and other process analytical measurements.

Advanced Instruments Inc. is a leading manufacturer of analytical instrumentation specializing in the gas detection measurement of percent, PPM, PPB, and trace levels of oxygen.

NDC Infrared Engineering has developed an extensive range of on-line near infrared gauges.

Sick/Maihak offers an extensive range of gas analyzers and analysis systems. Adaptation to different system conditions or solutions of complex measuring tasks - we have the answer: in-situ and extractive measuring technology for installation in complete systems.

Gas Analyzer

Picarro analyzers are among the world's most sensitive and easy to use real-time gas analyzers for trace detection, many with typical lower detection limits of parts per trillion. In addition to their unprecedented sensitivity, the analyzers operate with no requirement for frequent calibration and with immunity to cross-talk from any other gas component in the sample, including varying moisture levels. These simple to use analyzers can be operated remotely, producing virtually drift-free data over months of operation without calibration. The high dynamic range of these rugged analyzers means they can deliver linear response for concentrations ranging from ppt to % levels, with an absolute accuracy of much less than 1%. Many analyzers offer the ability to simultaneously measure multiple gases in the same low-volume sample cell. This compact cell design minimizes the sample exchange time enabling very fast response times.

All Picarro analyzers are based on Picarro's unique Wavelength-Scanned Cavity Ring Down Spectroscopy (WS-CRDS), a time-based measurement utilizing a near-infrared laser to measure a spectral signature of the molecule. Gas is circulated in an optical measurement cavity with an effective path length of up to 20 kilometers. A patented, high-precision wavelength monitor makes certain that only the spectral absorption feature of interest is being monitored, greatly reducing the analyzer's sensitivity to interfering gas species, and enabling ultra-trace gas concentration and isotope measurements even if there are other gases present. As a result, the analyzer maintains high linearity, precision, and accuracy over changing environmental conditions with minimal calibration required. Precise temperature and pressure control systems designed into the Picarro analyzers ensure accurate measurements over long periods of time with minimal use of calibration gases. The analyzers are exceptionally rugged, essentially drift and maintenance free, and require no consumables, thereby offering significant ease of use and cost of ownership benefits.

Easily transportable from site to site, Picarro's analyzers can be set up and running within minutes, and require no absolutely sample preparation or drying. The gas concentration is displayed in real-time with no post-processing required. Designed to operate both in laboratories and in harsh environments, the analyzers can operate for many months without user interaction. The analyzers can be configured to automatically send out measurement data at regular intervals via the Ethernet or optional modem and can output real-time data in digital (via RS-232 interface) and optional analog data formats as well. It is possible to remotely connect with the analyzer's internal Windows-based PC and control it through a standard Remote Desktop connection or with similar remote login software. The analyzer can also use its modem or Ethernet connection to automatically synchronize with an atomic clock time service.
Qualities common to all Picarro analyzers:

* Superb sensitivity, precision & accuracy with virtually no drift
* Fast, continuous, real time measurements without interference
* Large dynamic range with high linearity
* Field and laboratory deployable with no consumables
* Installed and operational in minutes
* Rugged and insensitive to changes in ambient temperature

Hydrogen Fluoride Analyzer

LGR’s Hydrogen Fluoride Analyzer (HFA) provides sensitive measurements of HF in ambient air or in industrial process flows with extremely high precision and sensitivity. No longer do you have to spend a lot of money or wait a long time to measure HF with extremely high sensitivity – LGR’s HF Analyzer provides measurements every second with ppbv-level precision. In addition, the HFA can report measurements quickly over a very wide range of HF concentrations. The instrument, based on LGR’s cavity enhanced laser absorption spectroscopy, is extremely simple to use, inexpensive to operate, and includes all components (internal vacuum pump, keyboard, mouse, video monitor) to start recording data within minutes. Other atmospheric gases, including water vapor, carbon dioxide, oxygen, and methane, do not interfere with the HF measurements. The instrument includes an internal computer that can store data practically indefinitely on its internal hard drive (for unattended long-term operation), and that can send real-time data to a data logger through its analog and digital (RS232 serial) outputs. In addition, an Ethernet connection allows remote access to data files stored on the instrument’s hard drive. LGR’s Hydrogen Fluoride Analyzer provides the high quality data necessary for the most demanding trace gas monitoring applications.
